Inventory Specialist

About the role

The Inventory Specialist is a specialized, detail-driven role responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels and ensuring sustainable supply chain management within the dispensary. This position reports directly to the Inventory Manager, with indirect supervision from the Assistant Dispensary Managers (ADMs) and Lead Dispensary Managers. This role requires availability to work a flexible and rotating schedule, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Set or fixed schedules are not available for this position. The Inventory Specialist is responsible for auditing inventory supply, identifying and rectifying discrepancies, managing storage systems, and communicating with internal teams to ensure operational continuity and compliance. Candidates with specific experience in managing previous medical marijuana inventory will be considered highly competitive for this position. Requirements

• Prior experience in inventory management, auditing, or supply chain operations
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
• Experience with inventory management systems or point-of-sale software
• Ability to analyze discrepancies and problem-solve efficiently
• Basic math and computer proficiency
• Ability to work independently while collaborating cross-functionally
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to lift and move inventory as needed
