Capital Markets & Corporate Development Intern - Summer 2026

Responsibilities

• Build and own consolidated databases for debt, equity and transaction comparables to support live deal execution
• Evaluate and present potential M&A targets, including preparing supporting financial analyses
• Own deal-level financial models including cash flow waterfalls, merger models and potential investment return models
• Prepare board-facing materials and analysis to support transaction decisions
• Interface with lenders, bankers, advisors, strategic partners and founders
• You
• Currently pursuing an MBA
• Have prior investment banking experience or equivalent (e.g., corporate development, private equity, etc.)

Requirements

• Experience in TMT coverage, leveraged finance or M&A
• Experience executing debt and equity transactions for high-growth and / or capital intensive industries

We lead debt and equity capital raises, evaluate strategic transactions, and partner closely with executives, investors, and external advisors to execute high-impact deals. As a CMCD Intern, you'll build a centralized source of truth for market comparables across debt, equity, and M&A transactions. This work directly informs live capital raises and strategic decisions. You'll contribute to real transactions, develop investor-grade materials, and gain exposure to senior stakeholders across the company and external partners.
