As a Drill Bits Field Specialist , you will provide solutions to moderately complex wellsite challenges while contributing to broader operational goals such as workforce optimization, resource planning, and execution excellence aligned with business and customer metrics. Partner with the best As a Field Specialist - DRB, you will develop and demonstrate proficiency in the technical and operational skill profile required for Drill Bits service delivery, while collaborating with cross-functional teams and supporting strategic execution at the field level. You will also contribute to workforce effectiveness by ensuring proper execution standards, continuous improvement, and alignment with operational strategies defined by leadership. As a Drill Bits Field Specialist, you will be responsible for: Field Operations & Technical Execution Providing resolution to moderately complex problems at the wellsite, requiring analysis of multiple operational factors. Applying sound judgment to troubleshooting and decision-making using hands-on experience and technical training. Ensuring operational status, maintenance, and readiness of field equipment. Demonstrating strong knowledge in wellbore placement and drill bit performance optimization. Ensuring and supervising best practices in BHA handling and make-up. Utilizing and interpreting complex drilling software and data systems. Completing advanced technical training and well-site development programs. Collecting and submitting complete field documentation for reporting and billing processes. Operational Excellence & Resource Alignment Supporting effective field resource utilization aligned with operational and customer requirements. Collaborating with Customer Service Managers on issue escalation and resolution when needed. Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying performance gaps and recommending solutions. Ensuring compliance with Baker Hughes HSE policies, legal requirements, and core values. Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement Communicating effectively with well-site personnel and stakeholders at all levels. Supporting coordination between field operations and business units to meet service delivery expectations. Participating in feedback loops to improve service delivery models and execution strategies. Fuel your passion To be successful in this role, you will need: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Petroleum, Mechanical, Electrical) or related field. Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Drill Bits Services , including roles such as Field Specialist, Field Engineer, or Field Operator. Proven ability to analyze and resolve technical problems in wellsite environments. Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal). Ability to work in dynamic environments and adapt to operational variability. Desired Characteristics Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
