This position is located at the Grant Library on Fort Carson. A qualified candidate must possess the following: Experience that provided a basic knowledge of data processing functions, system installation and general management principles that enabled the applicant to understand the stages required to automate a work process. Experience may have been gained in work such as computer operator or assistant, computer sales representative, program analyst, or other positions that required the use or adaptation of computer programs and systems. OR Completion of a two year degree with a major course of study in computer science, information science, information systems management, or course work that required the development or adaptation of computer programs and systems and provided knowledge equivalent to a major in the computer field. NOTE: The above minimum qualifications must be described within the duties of previous work experience listed on the applicant's resume and/or supporting documents. A copy of all documents must be submitted at the time of application. ** Highly Qualified - Resume must demonstrate experience in the highly qualified criteria.** 1. Experience with imaging computers. 2. Experience with customer service support in providing immediate troubleshooting and help-desk assistance for IT related issues for all patrons. 3. Experience performing daily sweeps of public computers to ensure all software/hardware is functioning properly. Applicants that meet the Highly Qualified criteria will be referred to management for consideration first. All others may be referred if management does not make a selection from the Highly Qualified list.
