- Supervises staff by assigning and distributing work, directing staff in their job duties, monitoring progress of work, providing feedback and/or training.
- Completes reports and documentation to document and report daily activities and report damaged or missing equipment, meters, and signs to notify appropriate person/department.
- Strategizes with businesses and other departments (e.g., police department) to minimize parking issues, particularly for special events (e.g., Alabama Theatre events).
- Appears in court to testify regarding contested parking citations.

- Job involves moderate physical exertion for sustained periods of physical activity such as walking or standing. May involve occasional light lifting of items or objects weighing up to 25 lbs.

This position supervises Parking Enforcement Officers, ensures compliance with parking regulations and departmental policies, responds to citizen concerns and citation disputes, and promotes positive community relations.
