Job Description: Shift pattern - 8am-4 pm ( Contract at Wilkinson) POSITION PURPOSE SUMMARY: This role is responsible for providing front line service to the clients within the context of the overall operations, including maintaining the security of the facility and its clients, direct support, assistance and encouragement to the clients. The role contributes to the broader mission and values of The Salvation Army, upholding standards of service that reflect its spiritual and social commitment to the community. ACCOUNTABILITIES: Takes responsibility for routine intake processes and decisions, following standard procedures and directs clients to appropriate shelter services - Records all information as per policy - Liaises with referral sources and other external agencies as needed (for example: welfare, police, urgent situations, medical facilities, etc.) - Fosters positive relations with community social services agencies/resources - Answer incoming inquiries and direct as needed - Adhere to standards that are consistent with the values & philosophy of The Salvation Army and Peel Residential Services mission and values - Performs other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS: Diploma/Degree in Social Science or equivalent education and experience. - Criminal Police Investigation Check (CPIC) - Appropriate Immunization Measures - Current Certification in First Aid/CPR Crisis Intervention Training (CPI) - Suicide Prevention - Health and Safety - Customer Service Training - Armatus Abuse Prevention Training - Valid G license Disclaimer: This job profile is a generic, territory-wide representation of the job class and is intended for informational purposes only. Benefits

The target hiring range for this position is $23.62 to $24.04 with a maximum of $24.45.
