The Chief of Staff to the CIO is a strategic and operational leader responsible for providing executive-level support and driving operational excellence within the function and organization. This role serves as a trusted advisor, managing complex projects, and ensuring the smooth functioning of the department. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Strategic Planning and Execution Collaborate with IT leadership to develop and execute strategic initiatives. Conduct in-depth analysis of operations to identify opportunities for improvement. Develop and implement operational plans to achieve functional goals and objectives. Oversee the development and implementation of functional policies and procedures. Operational Excellence Manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and alignment with organizational goals. Streamline processes and improve efficiency through process optimization. Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure functional performance. Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for cost savings. Team Management and Development Provide leadership and mentorship to team members. Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the organization. Identify training and development needs for staff. Stakeholder Management Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Effectively communicate strategies and initiatives to stakeholders. Identify and proactively manage cross-program risks, dependencies, and resource constraints. REQUIRED: Bachelor's degree in business or a related field. Master's degree or MBA preferred. 12+ years of experience in IT or a related field.
