Assistant Service Delivery Manager (IT Systems / O&M)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Service Delivery Manager to oversee the operations and maintenance of IT systems. You will manage service delivery teams, ensure SLA compliance, and drive system reliability, security, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of L1/L2 support engineers
• Oversee daily IT operations, maintenance activities, and service requests
• Plan and manage preventive maintenance and change activities
• Track IT assets and maintain accurate documentation for audits
• Manage vendors and subcontractors, ensuring performance and contract compliance
• Monitor SLAs and implement service performance improvements
• Manage operational budgets and cost control
• Act as the main point of contact for customers and ensure timely issue resolution

Requirements

• Minimum 3-4 years of leadership experience in IT systems operations & maintenance
• Good knowledge of IT service management and maintenance practices
• Familiarity with ITIL framework
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Good communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Proactive, independent, and able to manage multiple priorities under pressure
