JOB FUNCTION: Perform skilled mechanical duties in the startup, repairs, installation, preventive maintenance, and routine servicing of HVAC equipment. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : On site startup technician for various manufactures Troubleshoot installation of control systems Solving issues using reasoning and logic  Communication with individuals who installed the system Programming of new control system using touchscreens and computers Documentation of actions taken on the job site on service reports  Understanding and reading wiring diagrams during troubleshooting Completing all startup documentation and sending it to be entered for warranty Perform other duties and assignments. Maintain regular good attendance KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES: KNOWLEDGE OF :  Standard practices of the HVAC trade.  Theory of HVAC and refrigeration systems.  Computer Usage: Basic data entry and ability to navigate the use of email, internet, word processing programs  Materials, methods, and tools used in the operation and repair of HVAC and refrigeration systems.  Manual and electrical tools and equipment applicable to the HVAC and refrigeration trade.  Brazing and soldering techniques.  Health and safety regulations.  Basic record-keeping techniques.  Proper methods of storing equipment, materials, and supplies. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or G.E.D. Certificate Two years of HVAC training program LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS : Valid Nevada License Active EPA Universal Technician Certification
