About the role

Your new company Client is a Fortune 500 global company specializing in commercial real estate and property management, seeking to hire a 1-yearcontract (Renewable) M&E RTO. Location : CBD Duration : 1-Year Contract (ongoing, 5 year project) Your new role We are seeking an experienced Mechanical& Electrical Resident Technical Officer (M&E RTO),you will play a critical role in working closely with M&E Engineers and Consultants to ensure works are completed with quality and accuracy. A. Authority Requirements - Attend and assist during compliance inspections under relevant regulations: Building Control Act / Fire Safety Act (TOP Inspection, Registered Inspectors Inspection, CONQUAS Inspection etc.) and other utilities and agencies (SCDF, PUB, SP Services, EMA, IMDA, City Energy, etc). - Support the Architect/SO Rep, relevant Consultants(C&S Engineer, Conservation Specialist, Interior, Lighting, Acoustic, Security, Audio & Visual, Landscape Designer, Irrigation Specialist) or Client's Project Manager in ensuring that works are being carried out in accordance with the prescribed Building Regulations / Fire Safety Regulation. B. Inspection, Supervision And Observation Works - Conduct site supervision and inspections, including off-site production when required, toensure works meet quality and accuracy standards in accordance with the latestapproved Shop Drawings and Method Statements. C. Record Keeping D. Design Compliance Overview E. Progress Monitoring And Reporting F. Contractual Matters Overview G. Other Duties - To assist M&E Engineer and relevant Consultants to inspect and take over completed works on behalf of the Client. - To assist in supervision and coordination of Client's fit out works. - To assist and follow up on handover matters. What you'll need to succeed - Possess minimally a Diploma/NITEC in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent; - Min 5 years of relevant experience as RTO (M&E) - Have a valid RTO Certification accredited by IES / ACES What you'll get in return This is an exciting opportunity to join an established MNC and gain new experiences.
