About the role

We are looking for a proactive and disciplined Lead Generation & Appointment Setting Executive to support our agrifood and food & beverage trade business. This role focuses on outbound prospecting, identifying relevant B2B companies, qualifying customer interest, and arranging meetings for the founder and business team to follow up and advance commercial discussions.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain target lead lists of relevant B2B companies, including importers, distributors, wholesalers, traders, food service businesses, retailers, and other potential buyers in Singapore and selected overseas markets.
  • Conduct outbound prospecting through phone calls, WhatsApp, email, LinkedIn, and other appropriate channels.
  • Introduce the company and selected products clearly and professionally, identify customer interest, and qualify leads based on agreed criteria.
  • Arrange online or in-person meetings for the founder / business team with interested prospects.
  • Follow up systematically with prospects through multiple contact attempts and maintain a clear pipeline of open, warm, and closed leads.
  • Update CRM / Excel records accurately, including contact details, call outcomes, meeting status, and next actions.
  • Provide weekly reports on outreach activity, qualified leads, meetings secured, and key market feedback.
  • Support other reasonable outbound sales support tasks assigned by the company from time to time.

Requirements

  • Relevant experience in telemarketing, telesales, lead generation, appointment setting, call centre outbound sales, or B2B customer outreach.
  • Comfortable making cold calls and handling repeated outbound follow-ups.
  • Good spoken and written English. Mandarin communication ability is preferred in order to coordinate with China-based suppliers and product materials.
  • Organized, disciplined, and able to keep accurate follow-up and CRM / Excel records.
  • Positive attitude, resilience, and ability to work with targets and activity-based KPIs.
  • Experience in food, beverage, distribution, wholesale, import/export, or related industries is an advantage, but not mandatory.
  • Working Arrangement
  • This is a results-oriented role. Flexible or hybrid working arrangements may be considered, but the employee is expected to remain contactable during agreed working hours and complete scheduled outbound activity and reporting.
