Senior Piping Engineer or Designer

Requirements

• 10+ years of piping design experience
• Associate Degree in a technical discipline or equivalent. (BS Degree Preferred)
• Proficient in basic computer functions required to perform 3-D CAD design work. (software: AutoCAD Plant 3D, BIM/Revit, Navisworks, Inventor)
• Proficient in field investigations and measurements.
• Expert in working with piping isometric drawings and creating engineering and construction packages.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (software: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Working knowledge of Industry Standards such as API, ASME, ASTM, PIP

Additional Information

The Senior Piping Engineer or Designer is responsible for initiating and developing engineering drawings through completion for assigned projects in conformance with the client requirements, applicable codes, and design criteria established by the project's discipline engineers. Engineers apply Computer Aided Design (CAD) techniques to generate and interpret engineering designs in support of assigned projects. A significant amount of the design work is done in 3D software.
