Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-03 (GS-13 equivalency) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Technical Expertise: Acting as a technical authority within an engineering discipline, with expertise in applying the art and science of two or more specialty areas of engineering (e.g., safety, civil, mechanical, electrical, computer, aerospace, etc.). Program Management: Planning, developing, evaluating, and executing short- and long-range engineering programs. This includes defining project goals, developing schedules, and managing budgets to achieve objectives. Leadership and Communication: Leading and integrating the efforts of multiple teams, preparing and presenting briefings to high-ranking military and civilian managers, and resolving diverse or controversial technical viewpoints. Innovation: Formulating, evaluating, and promoting the generation and exchange of new concepts, principles, methods, and practices to stimulate the development of new policies and techniques.
