Responsibilities

  • Help maintain clear documentation, standard operating procedures, and participant-facing guidance for commission administration processes.
  • Support a strong control environment by ensuring commission processes are well-documented, reviewable, and consistently followed.
  • Over time, support additional Revenue Accounting and revenue reporting activities, potentially including ARR reporting and related data quality work.

For example, our engineering team in India works primarily from our Gurugram office. Role We're looking for a Commissions Specialist to join our team in India to support the accurate, timely, and well-documented administration of SentiLink's commission/bonus plans. This role sits within Revenue Accounting and will report to the Senior Manager, Revenue Accounting. This role will be responsible for maintaining the operational data and documentation that supports our commission process, including deal entry and review in Salesforce, participant setup and maintenance in CaptivateIQ, and the ongoing review of commission-related inputs, exceptions, and outputs. This is a detail-oriented, hands-on role for someone with a strong accounting or finance operations background who is fluent in reading and interpreting English-language commercial documents, including contracts, order forms, amendments, renewals, sales compensation plans, and bonus plans. Prior commissions experience is not needed, but the applicant should be comfortable working with structured financial data, understanding commercial terms, following documented processes, and knowing when to escalate questions or exceptions. This role is based remotely in India. Some overlap with US Pacific Time zone working hours will be required, but the role is not expected to be fully aligned to US hours.
