Supervisory Financial Analyst

About the role

This position is part of the Defense Threat Reduction Agency. You may qualify at the GS-15, if you fulfill the following qualifications: A. One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service: Overseeing and directing a broad range of financial analysis, planning, and management for complex programs, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives; Managing the formulation, presentation, and execution of comprehensive budgets and financial plans for multiple organizational elements; Translating, synthesizing, and interpreting a multitude of federal and departmental financial regulations and policies to provide authoritative guidance to program managers and senior leadership; Developing and delivering executive-level briefings and detailed reports that translate complex financial data for both technical and non-technical audiences to support critical decision-making, and; Plans, assigns, directs work, strategically adjusts assignments between government and contractor personnel, and conducts performance reviews to ensure mission-critical priorities are met ahead of schedule. (Experience must be clearly demonstrated in your resume) Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
