Managing Consultant - E&U - Electricity Networks

Requirements

• We work very closely with all our clients, build strong interpersonal relationships, and pride ourselves on our ability to 'walk the talk,'. Therefore, we are particularly interested in those who have practical 'hands on' experience with energy infrastructure assets and interest of:
• Energy infrastructure planning (transmission and/or distribution) in a rapidly evolving landscape
• The operation of energy networks in delivering consumer, regulator and shareholder priorities
• The production of asset strategies, policies, plans and standards. Plus, an understanding of how these influence/impact business outcomes
• Self-motivation and ability to manage their own workload effectively
• Leadership skills to build project teams and deliver multi-disciplinary projects
• Creative and open minded, enjoying learning and trying new ways of doing things
• Strong communication, presentation creation, delivery and document writing skills

• Track record of selling and delivering professional consulting services, including building and expanding client relationships across senior stakeholder groups.

We are looking for experienced consultants with a proven track record delivering in regulated utilities who can lead in multi-skilled teams with experience of working with UK energy infrastructure. The ideal candidate would have real-world experience of energy networks and preferably be able to show an understanding of energy price controls and the RIIO framework, and how the management of the physical assets supports customer, regulator and sector objectives.
