About the role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant/Bookkeeper to join our team. Our business values accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in financial management and is committed to providing a supportive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations using Xero
- Handle AP/AR, general ledger, bank reconciliations, and payroll
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Ensure timely submission of statutory filings (CPF, GST, IRAS etc.)
- Maintain accounting records and supporting documents
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
- Respond to auditors and other external regulatory bodies as required
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Accountancy or a relevant field
- 2+ years of accounting/bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency in Xero accounting software
- Familiarity with Singapore payroll, CPF, GST, and IRAS requirements
- Excellent attention to detail, organisation, and time management
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Preferred:
- Prior experience in SME environment
- Knowledge of other accounting platforms a plus (e.g. QuickBooks, MYOB)
- Experience with Singapore statutory filings
