Job Title: Associate Location: 50 Hudson Yards, New York, NY 10001 Job Duties: Safely and efficiently manage client portfolios comprised of physical and synthetic equity, fixed income, FX, ETFs, funds, private markets and commodity exposures. Perform portfolio management tasks including implementing multiple investment strategies, handling client flows, rebalancing, and monitoring positioning, performance and risk. Improve PM processes to increase efficiency and build scale using technology. Ensure all mandates conform to performance expectations, investment guidelines, risk parameters, and regulatory requirements. Work with internal partners to design and launch new portfolios and implement changes to existing portfolios. Develop and implement best practice portfolio management processes that create scale and minimize operational risk. Interface with operations, risk, data and other platform teams to drive process improvements and contribute to overall systems, investment and trading process enhancements. Participate in research related to portfolio construction, asset allocation, security selection and other investment topics relevant to multi-asset investing. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics and Statistics, Finance, Computer Science or a related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or as an Analyst or a related role. Must have two (2) years of experience with: Knowledge of investment instruments and markets including Derivatives, ETFs, pooled funds, FX, rates, Equities, and credit markets; Knowledge of portfolio management theory, optimization, and mathematical models for pricing; Macro and micro-economic concepts - Following growth, inflation, policy of the major economies of the world and understand the interplay between them; Programming languages including Python, C and SQL; Software development and data analysis tools including UNIX, Tableau, Power BI and Git; Knowledge of object-oriented programming, data structures, and software engineering practices to develop scalable code for the portfolio management platform; Knowledge of the Aladdin system - the central system where many financial companies conduct their operations; Ability to be curious, be organized, keep track of several tasks at once, be good with working with several stakeholders; and Knowledge of quantitative economics to build systematic models.
