About the Position: This position is located in the Directorate of Clinical Support, Nutrition Care, Food and Production Services at Eisenhower Army Medical Center, Fort Gordon, GA. I have the ability to perform common tasks including serving and preparing food in a kitchen environment; cleaning cooking utensils to include mixing bowls pots and pans; and operating cash collection systems. - Failure to meet this Screen out Element will result in an ineligible rating. Ability to Do the Work of the Position without More Than Normal Supervision Ability to Interpret Instructions, Specification, etc. Ability To Use and Maintain Tools and Equipment Dexterity and Safety Knowledge of Materials Technical Practices (theoretical, precise, artistic) Work Practices PHYSICAL EFFORT: The work requires the employee to lift items weighing up to 35 pounds; to bend, stoop, push, and pull heavy objects; and involves continuous standing, walking, and sitting. Must possess good eyesight and coordination for cash register and money-handling duties. WORKING CONDITIONS: Employee performs work in noisy kitchen and dining room areas and is subject to injuries from equipment used. There is exposure to dirt, grease, and water in cleaning tasks and exposure to extremes of temperature when bringing supplies from walk-in refrigerators and freezers.
