Responsibilities

  • Monitor and ensure the safety of campers during free swim periods at the pool.
  • Help campers in the "learn to swim" area of the pool.
  • Inform the camp administrator of any issues/ incidents requiring immediate attention.

Hiring Unit: Athletics & Recreation Position Summary: Under the direction of the immediate supervisor, the aquatics staff member will be responsible for lifeguarding duties during the camp's free swim periods. They will be expected to provide swimming tips for campers using our "learn to swim" area of the pool. When required, Aquatics staff may be asked to assist in other areas of camp throughout the day.
