Job DescriptionSupply chain, Logistics and Operations Executive - Indonesia Role Overview Title: Logistics & Operations Manager Department - Supply Chain / Operations Location- Jakarta, Indonesia (On-site) Reporting To - Director / Business head Employment Type - Full-Time Industry - Electronics / Payment Solutions / Payment devices About the RoleWe are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Logistics & Operations Manager to join our team in Indonesia. This role is pivotal in managing end-to-end import logistics from India, ensuring smooth customs clearance, documentation compliance, and warehouse operations. As the role evolves, the incumbent will also take ownership of the Soundbox refurbishment process, overseeing quality checks and device restoration to meet operational standards. Key Responsibilities1. Import Logistics & Supply Chain (India and other countries → Indonesia) Coordinate and manage end-to-end import shipments from India or any other country, including air and sea freight.Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and customs brokers to ensure timely clearance.Track shipments and proactively resolve delays, discrepancies, or exceptions.Monitor inbound inventory levels and coordinate with the India-side supply team for replenishment planning.Ensure compliance with Indonesian import regulations, tariffs, and trade policies. 2. Documentation & Compliance Prepare, verify, and manage all import documentation including:Bill of Lading / Airway BillCommercial Invoice & Packing ListCertificate of Origin, Customs Declaration FormsImport Permits and SNI/BPOM certifications (as applicable)Maintain accurate records of all shipments, clearances, and vendor correspondences.Coordinate with internal finance for duty payments, LC documentation, and reconciliation.Stay updated on changes in Indonesian customs regulations and proactively adapt processes. 3. Warehouse & Inventory ManagementOversee receipt, inspection, and storage of imported goods at the local warehouse.Manage inventory records and conduct regular stock audits.Coordinate with internal teams for distribution and last-mile fulfilment. 4. Soundbox Refurbishment (Future Scope)Establish and manage a structured refurbishment process for returned/faulty Soundbox devices.Oversee device diagnostics, repair coordination, quality testing, and repackaging.Define and implement SOPs and quality benchmarks for the refurbishment unit.Coordinate with the technical team and vendors for spare parts and repair services.Maintain refurbishment MIS including turnaround time, yield rate, and cost tracking. Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.5-8 years of experience in logistics, import operations, or supply chain roles in Indonesia.Hands-on experience with Indonesian customs procedures, INSW portal, and import documentation.Prior experience working with cross-border shipments (India - Indonesia preferred).Exposure to electronics, fintech hardware, or consumer devices is a strong advantage.Experience in refurbishment, reverse logistics, or after-sales operations is a plus.
