Team Overview: The EMEA team, part of EDC's International Markets group, is responsible for developing business opportunities, strengthening relationships, and expanding market presence across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. It works closely with HQ teams to help Canadian companies diversify into new international markets and seize regional opportunities, while also partnering with international businesses to support trade and investment in Canada. What you will be doing: - Provide administrative support to Vice-Presidents, including managing calendars, meeting coordination, travel arrangements, correspondence, workflows, and information flow. - Prepare, edit, and format correspondence, reports, presentations, and other documents. - Coordinate leadership meetings (e.g., agendas, materials, minutes, town halls). - Serve as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, responding to inquiries and facilitating communication. - Administer budgets, expenses, and tracking with a focus on accuracy and timeliness. - Manage and maintain team tools and resources, including SharePoint sites and related requests. - Gather, organize, and summarize data to support reporting and decision-making. - Identify opportunities to improve administrative processes, workflows, and operational efficiency. What we are looking for: - High school diploma required. - Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in an administrative or clerical role. - Experience supporting senior leaders in a professional environment. - Proven experience in an administrative or assistant role. - Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). - Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and sound judgment. - Strong attention to detail with problem-solving capabilities. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
