Perform electrical calculations and evaluate existing systems to support design decisions. Prepare construction drawings using Revit and AutoCAD, including plans, one-line diagrams, electrical details, schedules, and other project documentation, along with specifications and construction cost estimates, under the supervision of licensed Professional Engineers. Perform field investigations and site visits to document existing conditions, verify field information, and assess the condition of existing electrical equipment and systems. Assist with technical reports, engineering studies, facility assessments, code reviews, and recommendations for repairs or system improvements. Coordinate electrical designs with architects, other engineering disciplines, utilities, and project team members. Assist with construction administration activities, including reviewing submittals, responding to RFIs, and performing site observations. Communicate professionally with clients, contractors, utilities, and project team members throughout planning, design, and construction. Continue developing technical knowledge through mentorship, project experience, and professional development opportunities. Follow the policies and procedures outlined in SEH's Employee Handbook. Essential Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or university. Experience using Revit or AutoCAD. Coursework, internship, co-op, or project experience related to building electrical systems, power distribution, lighting, industrial power systems, or electrical system design. Must reside within the Denver metropolitan area or be willing to relocate. Ability to obtain Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification within one year of hire. Ability to travel occasionally for project meetings, client meetings, and site visits. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Willingness to ask questions, seek guidance, and take on increasing responsibility. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
