Senior Network Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and support scalable and resilient network infrastructure for corporate offices
• Implement and manage enterprise Wi‑Fi solutions to ensure optimal user experience
• Manage and support WAN, SD-WAN, LAN, and network interconnectivity for seamless connectivity
• Proactively monitor network health and identify, troubleshoot, and resolve performance issues
• Provide support for site-level network incidents and user-impacting issues
• Generate periodic operational and performance reports
• Manage incident, change, and capacity planning processes
• Support office expansions, relocations, and infrastructure upgrades
• Collaborate with Infrastructure, End-User Technology, and Unified Communications teams
• Ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of site networks

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Relevant certifications such as CCNP, PCNSA, or equivalent
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise network engineering and support
• Strong understanding of routing and switching concepts
• Hands-on experience with Cisco Wi-Fi, routing, switching, and ISE
• Working knowledge of Palo Alto firewalls
• Solid understanding of network security principles, including firewalls, VPNs, and access control
• Strong network troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Business level communication in both Japanese and English
• Experience working in multinational corporate environments
• Ability to operate effectively in high-paced, cross-cultural settings
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills
