Job Description A WSH Supervisor oversees day-to-day safety implementation on site and assists the WSH Officer. Key duties: 1. Site Safety Implementation Conduct daily safety inspections of the workplace to identify hazards and unsafe practices Enforce safety rules and regulations under the Workplace Safety and Health Act and company policies Supervise workers to ensure compliance with Risk Assessments, Safe Work Procedures, and Permit-to-Work systems Stop work when unsafe conditions are observed and report immediately to WSH Officer/Project Manager 2. Training & Communication Conduct toolbox meetings and daily safety briefings for workers Orientate new workers on site safety rules and emergency procedures Promote safety awareness through posters, campaigns, and behavioral observations 3. Incident & Documentation Investigate near-misses and minor incidents under guidance of WSH Officer Maintain safety records: daily checklists, inspection reports, PTW records, training attendance Assist in emergency drills and ensure first aid/fire-fighting equipment is accessible and maintained 4. Coordination Liaise with sub-contractors to ensure they comply with site safety requirements Coordinate with WSH Officer on corrective actions and safety program implementation Monitor PPE compliance and upkeep of welfare facilities
