About the role
Join our Australian Steel Markets business in our BlueScope Steel Direct team as an Contact Centre Representative based in Port Kembla, NSW . This is a 12-month fixed-term opportunity with hybrid flexibility, where you'll work four days in the office and one day from home. Working within a supportive and customer experience focused team. What Will You Do? Utilising your knowledge and understanding of the building and construction industry, in conjunction with your awareness of steel products and installation methods, you'll be the first point of contact for consumers, trades and professionals. You will: respond to enquiries and provide product and technical information about our premium brands and products or link them to the internal teams to address their concerns build relationships with internal stakeholders by identifying key players, investing time, communicating regularly, demonstrating integrity, and fostering positive connections provide insights to our internal sales, marketing, technical and innovation teams identify improvements with our systems and processes, assisting with implementing changes participate in improvement initiatives that support customer experience, employee experience and efficient operations More About You As a customer experience professional you will have a growth mindset, always looking to improve processes and experiences. Solution oriented, you will focus on finding answers and resolving problems, with a willingness to assist. You'll also bring: exceptional customer experience in a similar role delivering high value responses in a timely manner effective communication skills and will go the extra mile to seek solutions for all types of enquiries an understanding of the building and construction industry including steel products ability to multitask between phone, email and website enquiries excellent written and verbal communication skills excellent attention to detail with the ability to resolve issues and identify solutions high level of computer competency and ability to learn our IT systems quickly including Salesforce, and Microsoft Office a thirst for learning and taking on new challenges and initiatives
