About the Department: Global Product Development & Implementation ("PD&I") is a diverse and high-performing team within Franklin Templeton. The culture is open, collaborative and flexible. PD&I is a global team, with a presence in: London, Edinburgh, Poznan, Hyderabad, Singapore Paris and remote locations. As a result of this geographical diversity, interactions within the team are generally done via video calls which help build a collegiate atmosphere. Sitting within the Global Client Group ("GCG"), and seen as a core part of Franklin Templeton, the PD&I team is responsible for implementing a wide range of Product-driven changes across Franklin Templeton's cross-border funds. The team works collaboratively with a variety of functions, including investment, legal, marketing, and distribution teams. There is a requirement to attend the office 3/4 days per week. How you will add value? Core Responsibilities: Project manage the implementation of Product-driven change events, including prospectus updates, share class launches and fund liquidations. Become a subject matter expert on Franklin Templeton's cross-border product offering. Builds relationships, garners support and resources, and collaborates with business partners such as Legal, Compliance, Franklin Templeton Services, Marketing, Global Shareholder Services, Franklin Templeton Technologies and other departments to sponsor and drive the implementation of product and client initiatives. Strategic Responsibilities: Assisting in putting together process documentation to aid the smooth and consistent running of projects within the department. Research tasks as projects or regulatory requirements come to market. Identify and contribute to department-specific continuous improvement initiatives. Assistance in fund launch projects as required with a view of owning fund launch projects in the future. Team & Collaboration: Supporting more senior team members with administration tasks. Key Responsibilities Include: Assisting on large scale projects by helping document the requirements, track actions and reach out to various departments to source information and feedback. Helping respond to queries received from the business by acting as a subject matter expert for Global Product Development & Implementation related information. What will help you be successful? Experience & Education: Bachelor's degree required. 7+ years of experience with a solid understanding of the asset management industry Experience contributing or leading product development initiatives. Demonstrable interest in the financial services/asset management industry. Some experience of UCITS and AIF regulations is preferable but not mandatory. Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite. Project management qualifications or experience advantageous. Soft Skills: Client‑focused, proactive, and commercially driven. Comfortable operating independently in a fast‑paced environment. Effective verbal & written communication in English as well as presentation skills. Excellent relationship management skills, with the ability to interact across all levels. Self-starter with a proven ability to work autonomously. Meticulous and attention to detail.
