About the role

# Payroll & Compensation Specialist ## Job Responsibilities * Support the monthly payroll process, ensuring payroll is processed accurately, completely, and within established timelines. * Respond to employee enquiries regarding payroll, bonuses, incentives, and related compensation matters in a timely and professional manner. * Maintain and update employee payroll records, including salaries, allowances, bonuses, deductions, and other compensation-related information, ensuring data accuracy and compliance. * Prepare payroll, compensation, and incentive reports to support business analysis and management decision-making. * Support internal and external audits by preparing payroll-related documentation and required supporting materials. * Participate in the design, calculation, implementation, and post-review of compensation and incentive programs to ensure effective execution and continuous improvement. * Calculate, review, and administer various incentive and bonus schemes, including but not limited to: * OKR / KPI Performance Bonuses * Employee Referral & Recruitment Bonuses * Sales Commissions and Incentive Payments * Project-based and Milestone Incentives * Continuously improve payroll operations, compensation workflows, and bonus calculation methodologies to enhance efficiency, standardize processes, and reduce operational risk. * Support the administration of statutory payroll obligations, including personal income tax withholding and other statutory deductions, in accordance with company policies and applicable local regulations. * Perform other Human Resources duties and ad hoc assignments as assigned. --- ## Requirements * Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline. * Experience in Payroll, Compensation & Benefits, Human Resources Operations, or a related function. * Prior experience in the Internet Finance, FinTech, Financial Services, or Technology industry will be an advantage. * Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy when handling confidential payroll data. * Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, PivotTables, and data analysis functions. * Experience using HRIS and payroll systems is preferred. * Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills. * Able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. * Proficient in written and spoken Chinese for day-to-day business communication, with the ability to read and respond to emails in English. --- ## Preferred Qualifications * Familiarity with payroll regulations, employment legislation, and statutory payroll requirements. * Experience in incentive plan administration, commission calculations, or performance-based compensation programs. * Knowledge of payroll automation, process improvement, or HR digitalization initiatives is an advantage. --- ## What We Offer * Competitive salary and performance-based incentives. * Career development and professional learning opportunities. * A collaborative and innovative FinTech working environment. * Comprehensive employee benefits and wellness programs. * Opportunities to contribute to high-impact HR and compensation initiatives
