Transportation Operations Specialist

About the role

You will serve as a Transportation Operations Specialist in the Naval Air Terminal Department of NAVAL AIR TERMINAL. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Coordinating all aerial port functions concerning the loading, off-loading, and servicing of all aircraft; 2) Rotate personnel and/or equipment as needed to most efficiently accomplish the mission; 3) Ensures all communications pertaining to air terminal operations are gathered, processed, disseminated, and coordinated to and from the appropriate agencies; 4) Researches and/or gathers facts needed when submitting mission delay information to higher headquarters; 5) Monitors and/or manages all flight line air transportation activities.
