About the role

You will serve as an ELECTRONICS TECHNICIAN in the Technical Support and Test Group, Weapons Repair Division of TRIDENT REFIT FACILITY, BANGOR. Salary Information: GS 11: $83,935 - $109,122 GS 12: $100,602 - $130, 786 FOR THE GS-12 POSITION: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing technical direction and applying expert knowledge in Towed Buoy Antenna Systems and Buoyant Cable Antenna systems to include electrical and mechanical experience; Familiarization in the operation and maintenance of the Common Submarine Radio Room for SSBN submarines; Experience in data collection, analysis, and metric development for the purpose of troubleshooting and technical assistance for shipboard installed systems; knowledge and experience in testing and technical support for submarine installed external communications antennas and associated inboard electronics; developed working relationships with both in-agency and out-of-agency technical experts and stakeholders.
