Nexperia UK is expanding our team of Night Shift Production Assistants , working 7pm-7am on a 4‑on, 4‑off shift pattern. This is a permanent role offering a clear career development pathway and a starting salary of £39,684 per annum (inclusive of night shift allowance). Hiring Process Initial telephone screening call - week commencing 29.06.26 Assessment Day - including an introduction to Nexperia, practical exercises, and a short interview (held on 10.07.26) Occupational Health appointment for successful candidates held on 14.07.2026 Start dates for successful candidates will begin from 27.07.2026 onwards What Our Production Assistants Do As a Production Assistant, you will play a vital role in the high‑volume manufacturing of semiconductor devices within our advanced wafer fabrication facility. Working in a cleanroom environment, you will follow written instructions to operate sophisticated equipment used to produce the silicon chips found in everyday products such as smartphones, home appliances, wearables, and electric vehicles. With full training, you will: Complete daily tasks with the support of your Team Leader Learn to operate high‑tech manufacturing equipment and achieve required wafer output Follow production change procedures and adhere to all cleanroom and safety practices Complete documentation and enter transactions into the Factory Works system
