The Impact You'll Make in this Role As a Quality Document Administrator , you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by: Examines documents such as drawings, change orders, purchase orders, and specifications to verify completeness and accuracy of data Confers with document originators or engineering liaison personnel to resolve discrepancies and compiles required changes to documents Manages the document control system Prepares reports and memorandums Preparation of Certificate of Conformance and Certificate of Analysis Manages the compilation of data packages Tracking of production components and status of Work in Progress Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications: Associate degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) Two (2) years of document management experience in a private, public, government or military environment Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include: Experience in one or more of the following: defense / aerospace industry Aerospace Standards (AS9100) International Organization for Standardization (ISO) Experience in report writing Experience using Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access Database, Outlook Prior experience working and building relationships with internal/external customers Effective verbal and written communications with all levels of personnel Work location: On-site Clarkston, GA Travel: No Travel Required Relocation Assistance: Is not authorized Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
