Essential Duties & Responsibilities Design a show display prototype enclosure for an advanced intelligent storage platform. Collaborate with the engineering teams to translate the production design into showcase/demo-ready prototypes. Participate in design reviews and prototype validation activities. Create and modify mechanical designs using SolidWorks. Support prototype fabrication activities including: drilling, routing, cutting, polishing, fastening, and assembly Perform mechanical calculations related to fit, articulation, tolerances, and load-bearing structures Work within the tight timelines needed to achieve this display concept. The responsibilities of this role are typically aligned with candidates who have approximately 0-2+ years of relevant professional experience, though candidates of all experience levels are encouraged to apply. Required: Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline Right to work in the US without requiring Western Digital to commence or sponsor an immigration case in order to employ you at any point in the future required.
