About the role
Our client is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Housekeeping Floor Supervisor to join the opening team of a new luxury hotel in Singapore. As a Housekeeping Floor Supervisor, you will oversee the daily operations of assigned guest floors, supervise housekeeping team members, and ensure guest rooms and public areas are maintained to the highest standards. Job Responsibilities: Supervise and inspect guest rooms, corridors and assigned areas to ensure cleanliness, presentation and operational standards are consistently achieved. Monitor room readiness and coordinate room status updates with the Front Office team. Supervise Room Attendants and provide guidance, coaching and on-the-job training to support performance and development. Allocate daily assignments and monitor productivity to ensure efficient operations. Conduct quality inspections and ensure housekeeping standards are maintained across all assigned areas. Respond promptly to guest requests, feedback and service recovery situations to ensure guest satisfaction. Coordinate with Engineering for maintenance issues and follow up on rectification works. Ensure housekeeping pantries, linen rooms and work areas are clean, organised and properly maintained. Manage lost and found procedures and ensure accurate documentation of guest belongings. Complete housekeeping reports, inspection records and operational documentation accurately and on time. Monitor team grooming, hygiene and professional presentation standards. Ensure compliance with hotel policies, safety procedures, security requirements and housekeeping standards. Support a positive team environment and contribute to the smooth operation of the Housekeeping Department. Job Requirements: Minimum 3 years of experience in housekeeping or guestrooms operations within a hotel environment. Previous supervisory experience in housekeeping is preferred. Strong knowledge of housekeeping operations, room standards and cleaning procedures. Good communication skills in spoken and written English. Strong organisational, planning and coordination abilities. Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality, cleanliness and guest satisfaction. Ability to lead, motivate and develop a team effectively. Familiarity with hotel systems such as Opera or other Property Management Systems (PMS) is an advantage.
