AM Shift - 7am to 3pm Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week Job Summary To provide support to the NBNi MK Warehouse team under the supervision of the Team Leader. Essential Job Duties: Pick customer orders, ensuring a high level of quality and productivity Packaging and dispatch of books Forklift driving and maintenance Supervise unloading/loading of containers and trailers Assist with goods inwards/outwards in accordance with procedures Ship goods outwards ensuring that they are clearly labelled and addressed correctly Maintain the distribution area, goods inwards, loading bay area and yard in a clean and orderly manner. Assist in Quality Control Assist in removing waste materials from site Assist with regular stock takes as required; Work to set procedures in accordance with quality controls Monitor and report necessary replenishment of supplies To be responsible for your own Health and Safety and be aware of factors affecting your colleagues in order to maintain a safe environment. To report any accidents, potential hazards to your Line Manager immediately. In addition to the above the Warehouse Assistant will perform other duties as reasonably requested by the management team Essential Physical Demands: Ability to walk and stand continuously during the assigned shift. Ability to lift/carry in full range of motion up to 20 kilos during the assigned shift. Ability to push/pull in a manufacturing environment up to 20 kilos to push during the assigned shift. Ability to grip/grasp continuously during the assigned shift. Ability to bend, kneel/squat, twist/turn, reach above shoulder, and type/keyboard frequently during the assigned shift. Ability to work designated shift including overtime as required. Ability to work a flexible schedule which could include nights and weekends & ability to travel as needed Exposure to wide range of temperatures
