About the role
ISCA Academy is seeking a dedicated and highly organized Professional Development Specialist to support the growing range of programme initiatives within the academy. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting programme and course administration, managing partnerships and collaborations, coordinating outreach activities, and handling documentation and processing to ensure the smooth delivery of all academic programmes. Job Description 1. Strategic & Innovation Support Support horizon scanning through research and analysis of industry trends and training needs. Assist in feasibility studies and pilot programmes, coordinating implementation and evaluation. Translate strategic initiatives into actionable plans and support rollout execution. 2. Programme Delivery & Administration Manage end-to-end course operations including scheduling, enrolment tracking, and trainer coordination. Execute training logistics (attendance tracking for funded courses, materials dissemination, Zoom hosting, classroom setup, catering). Ensure smooth and timely delivery of programmes through strong planning and coordination. 3. Client Service Excellence Independently manage walk-in and remote enquiries (email, WhatsApp, phone). Provide accurate, timely support to learners and stakeholders. Uphold a high standard of service experience across all touchpoints. 4. Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Coordination Work closely with internal teams (Events, Facilities, Sales & Marketing, Finance) for seamless execution. Maintain strong communication and alignment with trainers, learners, and partners. Support stakeholder engagement and ensure programme objectives meet evolving needs. 5. Agile Execution & Operational Management Monitor timelines, risks, and dependencies to ensure speed-to-market. Anticipate bottlenecks and implement proactive solutions. Adapt quickly to changes in priorities or external conditions. 6. Performance Monitoring & Quality Management Track KPIs across programme delivery and strategic outcomes. Analyse training feedback and flag quality issues for improvement. Support reporting and continuous enhancement of programme impact. 7. Compliance & Financial Administration Administer funding claims (e.g., TPGateway) and ensure compliance requirements are met. Process vendor invoices and support financial tracking. Maintain accurate records for audit and governance purposes. 8. Ad-hoc & Project Support Support special projects and evolving organisational priorities as required. Engage in outreach activities to raise awareness of programmes. Job Requirements Prior experience in an institute of higher learning/ education/ engagement role/ events management / professional membership body would be an added advantage Willingness to learn about the accountancy industry is a must Effective project management skills to handle multiple projects, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines Strong written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders Strong data management and analysis skills to derive data-driven insights for reporting and communication. Attention to detail and organisational skills to ensure accuracy and quality of programme development Ability to adapt to changing requirements, learning needs, and evolving technologies. Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment and display abilities as a good team player Ability to leverage AI tools to work efficiently and effectively
