Responsibilities

  • Analytics Solution Development: Design and develop interactive dashboards, reports, and scorecards using Power BI for business insights.
  • Data Modeling: Build scalable semantic models, optimize DAX measures, and implement star/snowflake schemas for high-performance reporting.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with business users and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Deployment & CI/CD: Manage deployments using version control and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps or equivalent).
  • Leadership (For Lead Role): Mentor team members, conduct code reviews, enforce best practices, and manage deliverables across projects.
  • Solution Architecture (Lead): Define scalable architecture patterns and guide implementation of enterprise analytics solutions on Fabric.
  • Required Skills & Experience (Must-Have)
  • Power BI & Visualization
  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI (Desktop & Service)
  • Expertise in DAX, Power Query (M), and report optimization
  • Experience in building complex dashboards and enterprise BI solutions
  • Microsoft Fabric & Data Platform
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric
  • Experience with Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, Dataflows Gen2, and Pipelines
  • Understanding of end-to-end data lifecycle within Fabric
  • Data & Technical Skills
  • Strong SQL skills (query writing, performance tuning, joins, stored procedures)
  • Data modeling expertise (star schema, normalization/denormalization)
  • Experience with Azure Data Factory or Fabric pipelines
  • Understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL/ELT processes
  • Architecture & Delivery
  • Experience in designing scalable BI solutions
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical designs
  • Nice-to-Have Skills
  • Experience with Azure Synapse Analytics
  • Knowledge of Databricks
  • Experience with Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines
