Scale House Operator Lead

Responsibilities

• Weigh inbound and outbound trucks and generate accurate scale tickets
• Enter and track load data, including weights and farm information
• Coordinate with drivers, dispatch, growers, and plant teams to manage load flow
• Monitor and resolve discrepancies in load information
• Support team operations and provide training as needed
• Promote and maintain a safe work environment

Requirements

• 1 year of experience in a lead, trainer, or supervisory capacity-preferably in a manufacturing or production environment
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Basic computer and data entry skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Previous experience in logistics, agriculture, or production (preferred)
• Work Environment
• Combination of office and outdoor work
• Interaction with drivers and operations teams
• Flexible schedule required, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays
