Halal Assurance Practitioner

Responsibilities

• Conduct internal reviews of halal compliance practices to ensure adherence to standards
• Verify documentation related to ingredients, suppliers, and procurement for halal compliance
• Support halal assurance processes within food establishments to maintain certification requirements
• Prepare detailed audit notes and reports to document findings and recommendations
• Provide practical guidance to businesses on maintaining and improving halal standards
• Work independently with strong attention to detail and integrity to uphold halal assurance quality
• Preferred competencies and qualifications
• Background in auditing, compliance, or quality assurance relevant to halal operations
• Experience working in halal-certified food operations
• Familiarity with Quality Management Systems
• Possession of the MUIS Halal Competency Assessment (HCA) certificate is an advantage
