Position Summary The Property & Casualty Underwriting Associate supports the underwriting process by maintaining accurate policy data, evaluating risk, and assisting with premium calculations and documentation. This role ensures high-quality service to clients and agents while adhering to underwriting guidelines, regulatory requirements, and company standards. What will your job entail? Job Responsibilities: Review and update existing policies to ensure accurate data and appropriate pricing for renewals Communicate with clients and agents to gather required underwriting information and resolve inquiries Provide guidance on insurance products, underwriting appetite, and policy requirements Prepare, review, and organize documentation for underwriting submissions and policy issuance Conduct risk assessments for new and renewal business, including standard and non-standard exposures Support premium calculations by applying rating guidelines and underwriting rules accurately Generate and maintain reports on underwriting activity, performance metrics, and key data points Assist with internal and external audits by providing underwriting documentation and records Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and underwriting standards Collaborate with underwriting team members to support workflow, data accuracy, and process efficiency Serve as a primary point of contact for customers and agents, delivering responsive and high-quality service Education: Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Actuarial Science, Business Administration, or a related field Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered
