Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Must have extensive knowledge and experience with concepts, principles and techniques of a broad range of outdoor adventure programs, gained in a position in organizational professional guiding/outfitting or outdoor education. Must have a minimum of 5 years documented outdoor recreation and guiding professional experience in both field and program leadership positions. Must have minimum certification levels in Wilderness First Responder, Leave No Trace Trainer, Swiftwater Rescue, CPR, American Mountain Guides Association (AMGA) Multi Pitch Instructor, American Avalanche Association (A3) Pro 2 and Recreation American Institute for Avalanche Research and Education (AIARE) Course Instructor. Must have minimum training levels of AMGA Apprentice Ski Guide, AMGA Apprentice Alpine Guide, and completed the AMGA Ice Instructor Course. Ideal candidate has terminal certifications in the rock, alpine or ski track of AMGA training or IFMGA License, and is an SPI and CWI Provider. Strong organization and planning skills required and fluency in Google Suite and Microsoft Suite. Must be able to obtain and maintain a favorable Tier 1 background investigation as a condition of employment. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:
