Liquid personnel have an exclusive opportunity for a Children's Home Manager to oversee a solo home for a young person with backgrounds of EBD and CSE. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experience Children's Manager or deputy wanting to utilise their experience and knowledge to shape the future of this home. You will be working for a fantastic children's home provider across the northwest who solely focus on the positive outcomes for young people using therapeutic approaches and by providing solo provisions to give the young person direct 1-1 support, to build and repair relationships and to give them the skills for a successful future! What will your responsibilities be? In this role, you will oversee the daily operations of the children's home, including the management of staff, budget, and resources. You will lead the staff team, in conjunction with the deputy, to create a safe and warm environment for children and young people to achieve positive outcomes. Providing leadership and guidance to staff, including regular performance reviews, is essential. You will work collaboratively with external agencies, including social workers, healthcare providers, and education professionals, to ensure each child receives the highest quality care and support. Additionally, you will maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring all administrative tasks are completed efficiently. Qualifications & Experience: A minimum of 2 years' experience managing a children's CIW registered home NVQ Level 3 or above in Health and Social Care and a Level 5 in Leadership & Management A thorough understanding of CIW regulations and standards relating to residential care homes for children Excellent leadership and management skills, including the ability to motivate and inspire a team Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with staff, our young people, and external stakeholders Have physical intervention experience or willing to undertake practical training
