Job Description: Finance Manager - Poland - Krakow Role Scope - Responsible for all financial matters of the branch of FC UK in Poland. - Responsible for management of the project Finance Team. - Responsible for multiple activities. - Forward looking and strategic thinker (6 to 12 months look ahead). - Supports and advise the Project Director and Commercial teams in any finance related matters. - Collaborates with Project Controls to ensure a robust budgeting and forecasting process is in place. - Represents the Finance Team and the project in finance related matters, leading external and internal audit processes, SOX implementation and compliance and interacting with the Client when required. - Responsible for the financial reporting to head office (including JV partners) meeting the required deadlines (monthly, quarterly, bi-quarterly, annual). - Compliance and interacting with the Client when required. Role Summary Responsible for all financial matters of the branch of FC UK in Poland. Oversees all Finance Team in a project, identifying and addressing development needs, providing feedback and career development opportunities, when possible. Deep knowledge of budget update process, providing guidance and advise to Project Managers / Project Directors / Project Controls to ensure a robust budget is always in place. Maintains a sceptical approach, challenging assumptions or data not properly explained or backed up. Advises the SLT / Board in commercial strategies in order to maximise profit and cash flow. Oversees financial reporting to Ferrovial Head Office and JV partners, ensuring deadlines are met. Ensures risk controls are properly implemented, and evidences are robust and correctly done in a timely manner. Provides support to Ferrovial Construction UK Finance Director with any ad hoc requirement. Collaborates with the rest of the project Finance Managers sharing lessons learned, best practices and opportunities for improvement in the finance systems, processes, team management and any other subjects affecting the finance discipline or the business. Other ad hoc tasks as requested by the Finance Director. Role Requirements Bachelor's degree in business administration, accountancy or finance Substantial experience as Project Accountant / Financial Controller in construction projects is required. Proven track record of delivery and team management experience. Ability to work under pressure. Leadership skills. Ability to interact with the Senior Leadership Team. Seize the challenge.
