About the role

Responsible for the building and assembly of fusion machines to blueprints. Work directly with the manager to ensure that all quality, safety and production standards are met. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Required to understand and follow all safety procedures Required to understand and follow work procedures as set forth by all ISO documentation Read and interpret blueprints as required by operation Build and assembly machines by selecting the proper tools and components Test machines to ensure working properly before shipped to customer Responsible for interpretation of work orders Adhere to ISO 9001 Quality, ISO 14001 Environmental, and OSHAS 18001 certification requirements Requires regular attendance per the schedule assigned by supervisor Required to understand and follow all company policies and procedures at all times Required to meet or exceed production standards of all work centers daily Required to maintain quality standards on all products Check machines to maintain engineering drawing tolerances Ensure that all guards and safety equipment have been installed and properly checked Other duties as assigned Responsible to maintain a safe working environment for all employees Required Skills/Abilities: Mechanical skills; must be able to build and assemble machinery Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices and procedures within manufacturing environment Able to select the proper component required for a work center Must be able to perform all quality control checks within your department Thorough, accurate and work error free Must be able to perform all quality control checks within your department Trained to perform certain preventative maintenance tasks at various work centers Capable of working with the floor inspectors to resolve quality problems Education and Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent, desired Working Conditions / Physical Requirements: Typical office/factory environment with possibility of exposure to heat in production areas Must be able to lift 50 lbs. in a safe manner Clarity of vision and the ability to focus on a fast and repetitious operation for extended period of time Exposure to heavy equipment or components needed to produce product (safety toed shoes required) Exposure to sparks, chips and dust (eye protection required) Must be capable of maintaining a 40-hour workweek and working overtime as needed Must be able to perform repetitive motion. Examples: walking, reaching, bending, twisting, stooping, pushing, pulling, and standing for extended periods of time Exposure to machine noise levels (hearing protection required) Exposure to electrical and mechanical moving parts Exposure to extreme seasonal temperature conditions Please submit your application via the 'Apply' button.
