The incumbent will be responsible for providing executive leadership and strategic direction for the overall operations of the Defense Testing Assessment Center (DTAC), serving as the senior personnel psychologist overseeing ASVAB programs. Proven experience directing and managing a large-scale, complex testing and assessment organization or program with a substantial annual budget. Experience leading and conducting high-level, original research in psychometrics, test development, and personnel assessment, resulting in significant contributions to the field (e.g., publications, presentations at scientific societies). Experience supervising senior-level technical and professional staff, including setting strategic direction, managing performance, and overseeing complex research and development projects. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
