WHAT: You will lead the end-to-end development of BI and analytics solutions-designing data models, pipelines, and visualizations that standardize KPIs, improve transparency, and embed data-driven decision-making across Global Manufacturing Electrical & SDV. HOW: You will succeed in this role by translating complex manufacturing needs into robust data pipelines, scalable models, and intuitive Power BI solutions that deliver fast, reliable, and actionable insights in partnership with cross-functional stakeholders. Work Arrangement - Onsite This role is categorized as onsite. The successful candidate is expected to report to the Warren Tech Center on a full-time basis. This role may require up to 30% travel across North America to collaborate with plants and regional stakeholders. What You'll Do (Responsibilities): Develop and implement data analytics solutions and BI tools to improve manufacturing efficiency, quality control, and supply chain management. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, IT, and plant leadership) to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable analytics solutions. Design, build, and maintain data pipelines and workflows, ensuring data integrity, availability, and performance across multiple manufacturing systems and sources. Develop and maintain curated data models and tables, ensuring data is accurate, reliable, and aligned with Medallion architecture and GM data standards. Utilize statistical methods and machine learning techniques to extract insights from complex data sets and support predictive and prescriptive analytics. Build and deploy predictive models and advanced analytics solutions that support proactive decision-making and process optimization in manufacturing environments. Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and paginated reports that provide clear, actionable insights to plant teams and leadership. Work closely with IT and operational teams to integrate analytics solutions into existing systems and processes, ensuring solutions are secure, scalable, and maintainable. Support quick-turn analyses and visualizations to meet urgent manufacturing needs, including launch support, issue triage, and performance deep dives. Document data sources, data models, and reports, and contribute to standards, best practices, and governance for BI and analytics within Global Manufacturing Electrical & SDV. Your Skills and Abilities (Required Qualifications): Advanced proficiency in SQL, Power BI, and data modeling, including experience working with large, complex data sets. Proven experience applying data transformation techniques to move data from raw sources into curated, usable data tables and models. Strong proficiency in Power Query (M language), DAX (Data Analysis Expressions), and paginated reports. Proven experience with ETL processes and transforming raw data into actionable insights. Ability to work with large datasets and perform complex data analysis. Demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced environment, delivering high-quality visual and data analysis under tight deadlines. Flexibility and adaptability to support manufacturing teams with quick turnaround on analysis and reporting needs. Proficiency in SQL and related tools for data analysis and manipulation. Strong understanding of data warehousing, Medallion architecture, data modeling, and ETL processes.
