About the role

As Demand Planning Lead, you will own the end-to-end demand forecasting process across all categories, ensuring strong forecast accuracy and alignment to customer service targets and external benchmarks. You will lead and develop a high-performing team, embedding best-practice demand planning processes aligned to both local and global standards. This is a highly visible role, partnering closely with Sales, Marketing, Category and Finance to drive sharper, insight-led business decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end demand planning process, driving continuous improvement in forecast accuracy and bias
  • Establish and embed best-in-class demand planning frameworks across the ANZ business
  • Own the delivery of long-term volume forecasts for annual plans and periodic updates
  • Define clear roles, responsibilities, and governance to align cross-functional teams and improve forecast transparency
  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Category and Finance to ensure demand inputs are accurate, timely and insight-led
  • Lead and facilitate Demand Review / IBP forums, enabling effective decision-making and alignment
  • Partner with Category and Marketing to validate NPI forecasts, assumptions, and launch readiness
  • Provide clear KPI reporting and insights to drive improvements in forecast accuracy and performance
  • Ensure seamless handover of forecasts and market intelligence to supply planning hubs
  • Identify opportunities across markets, innovation pipelines and competitors to optimise and accelerate demand planning outcomes
  • About You
  • Proven leader with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams and delivering strong business outcomes
  • Significant experience in senior Demand Planning roles within FMCG or Consumer Healthcare
  • Deep expertise in forecasting methodologies, with strong understanding of commercial and operational impact
  • Advanced systems capability including and strong analytical use of data to drive decisions
  • Highly proficient in SAP/APO (or equivalent) to translate data into actionable insights
  • Strong stakeholder influence and collaboration skills, with ability to drive alignment across Sales, Marketing, Finance and Supply Chain
  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain or other relevant fields preferred
