Responsibilities

  • Program Management & Reporting
  • Help bring WAI SG's flagship programmes to life-such as the gala dinner, Girls in Aviation Day, Careers in Aviation Day, and mentorship programme-and support their successful delivery
  • Develop and monitor key performance metrics
  • Coordinate resource allocation across committees and facilitate cross committee collaboration for flagship programs
  • Ensure Committee Chairs adhere to the SOPs in terms of governance/approvals/budgeting during the program execution
  • Coordinate meetings for Board Directors with key external organizations and facilitate the action items / follow ups from those meetings
  • Compile and prepare regular reports for President
  • Working with the Board of Directors, support the application of grants and subsidies
  • Event Coordination
  • Act as primary liaison for corporate member events
  • Provide onsite support during WAI SG events
  • Coordinate between stakeholders for successful event execution and support committee chairs for each event to procure the internal and external resources required for a successful event
  • Working with the committee chairs for each major event (e.g. gala, GIAD, CIAD) to develop an SOP that can ensure continuity and best practices are communicated to subsequent committees
  • Tracking of receipts and payments for the events
  • Communication and Marketing
  • Create engaging digital content and communications for our website and social media channels
  • Create and manage presentations
  • Create marketing materials for key announcements and events
  • Coordinate internal communications between committees. Manage and administer internal communication channels (e.g. whatsapp community)
  • Working Hours:
  • 2.5 days per week
  • Occasional weekend commitments (once every quarter or less) requiredfor special events (e.g., Girls in Aviation Day)
  • Required Experience & Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of aviation industry experience will be an advantage;strong demonstrated passion or knowledge of aviation will also be highly valued
  • Excellent communication skills in English (written andverbal)
  • Experience in budgeting and tracking
  • Proficiency or willing to develop general proficiency inwebsite management and presentation tools
  • Strong project management capabilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity of systems/ tools such as, Xero, Eventbrite, and design tools such as Canva will be anadvantage
  • Budget management experience
  • Public Grant Application experience will be an advantage
  • A proactive self-starter who enjoys working independently,taking initiative, and keeping things moving to deadline
