About the role
Role: Asst. Manager - Manufacturing/ Process Engineering Job Description: - Candidate should have an Engineering degree with 3-5 years of experience and should have handled at least one stint in factory manufacturing operations or Engineering. - Should have hands on knowledge in Manex KPI's and shall be responsible to deliver through circles. - Shall be responsible to drive process improvements across site and shall hold accountability to unlock manpower productivity through simplification of processes and Labour lite programs - Shall also act as a back up to the site manufacturing manager (Critical role) - Should have Working Knowledge in the areas of Risk assessment (THA), Work permit system, permit to work system, Electrical and machinery safety. - Shall maintain high standards of data integrity and drive all Manex programs including digital initiatives in site. - Will report into Factory director and will interact with central functions/ stake holders such as SUIT, Man Ex, Digital , Capex procurement and all verticals in factory for implementation of the project as per network - Monitor and review progress of activity with the SUD, FE, MM on a regular basis - Shall lead delivery of all new projects in factory and deliver vertical startup. - Deliver improvements for improving OEE's. - Shall be a key person in the negotiation of long term settlements. Preferred Skill Profile: - Man-management skills, problem solving and ability to motivate people to achieve stretch targets would be essential. - Effective communication skills with fluency in Telugu, English and Hindi preferred. - Ability to independently work with external agencies and contractors - Exposure to TPM would be an added advantage. - Locational flexibility is desired.
