Responsibilities
- Designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance integration solutions and APIs using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
- Building, configuring, and managing event-driven architectures and data streams utilizing Apache Kafka.
- Leveraging strong core Java development skills to write custom components, scripts, and complex logic within integration workflows.
- Defining, implementing, and securing robust, scalable RESTful APIs and modern integration patterns.
- Deploying, monitoring, and managing APIs and integrations directly on the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
- Applying both traditional and modern software design patterns to architect the most efficient, scalable integration solutions for our clients.
- Collaborating within a CI/CD-driven environment, championing a DevOps approach to automated testing, deployment, and delivery.
- Ensuring system reliability and code quality by applying a "Quality First" mindset backed by rigorous unit testing and automated testing practices.
- Partnering with a highly collaborative team of engineering consultants to successfully deliver complex, world-class enterprise projects.
- Translating complex technical requirements into clear, elegant integration solutions while communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- What We Want from You
- Good experience with API, Events, Streams, and Integration development using MuleSoft.
- Hands-on experience working with and deploying solutions on the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
- Proven experience working with event-driven architectures and integration tools, specifically Apache Kafka (and/or other cloud-based messaging/streaming solutions).
- Solid foundation in Java development with the ability to write clean, complex systems code.
- Proven track record of defining, designing, and implementing complex RESTful APIs.
- A strong understanding of both modern and traditional Design Patterns, with the ability to select the best architectural solutions for our customers.
- Experience working in a CI/CD-driven project environment with a strong understanding of DevOps culture and practices.
- A "Quality First" mindset, backed by strong unit testing skills to ensure robust code delivery.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills, with a highly collaborative approach to teamwork.

- Have previously worked on or with eCommerce back-end systems and Point of Sale (PoS) systems.
- Have a good knowledge of the Spring Framework and Maven.

- Be a Test-Driven Development (TDD) practitioner with a strong focus on producing highly readable, well-architected, and thoroughly tested code.
